The 雅吉瓦人 城市 委员会 is seeking volunteers interested in serving on 城市 of 雅吉瓦人 boards, committees, and commissions:

• 自行车 & Pedestrian Advisory Committee has one vacancy.
• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee will have four terms ending in December 新葡京网上赌场.
• 雅吉瓦人 住房 Authority Board will have one term ending in January 2025.

It is the responsibility of the 城市 委员会 to appoint people to serve on the 政府erning bodies of those organizations.

More about the volunteer opportunities:

• The 自行车 and Pedestrian Advisory Committee has seven members. Members serve a four-year term and one member may be a resident of 雅吉瓦人 County if they also either own property within the 城市 of 雅吉瓦人 or own a business within the 城市 of 雅吉瓦人.
• The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee is comprised of nine members who serve two-year terms. Three of the upcoming vacancies must be filled by a representative of a business required to collect the lodging tax. One of the upcoming vacancies is to be filled by a person involved in activities authorized to be funded by the revenue received from the lodging tax.
• The 住房 Authority has five members. Members serve a 5-year term and 城市 of 雅吉瓦人 residency is not required. The meetings are held every fourth Wednesday at the 住房 Authority Office.

Anyone interested in applying for openings can submit their application to the 城市 Clerk’s Office no later than November 8, 新葡京网上赌场.

Applications will be reviewed by the 委员会 Nominating Committee in mid-November and recommendations will be put forth to the 城市 委员会 in December.
